Mesh topology

This is also known as complete topology. Here by design, every device possesses a point to point link to other devices. The link here should carry traffic only between the two devices it connects. Usually this technology is used for long distance transmission of data between nodes. There are two types: true mesh topology and hybrid mesh topology. With this technology, we can eliminate bottleneck problems. Signal security is high in this technology. This topology is stout to link failures. Fault identification and fault isolation is easy due to point to point link. Traffic can be diverted to other channels or paths to avoid links with suspected problems
